The Time I Slept with Kyra Ice

It was 10 PM at the Muncher Hauptbahnoff and we boarded the overnight train to Budapest. We had a sleeper car booked and meine gute would we need the sleep.

After three days of sloshing around Munich during the Oktoberfest I could have slept naked on a train station bench next to a Burger King using my lederhosen as a pillow.

Olivier had lost his phone in the back of a taxi cab after leaving the strip club on Saturday night. He didn't really miss it until he woke up in Lyon two days later. He missed the strip club immediately however.

I mouthed off to a Turkish bouncer keeping me away from "one more" beer at the Oktoberfest. He pushed my forehead with his littlest finger and I went tumbling down the stairs backwards where I also came to the conclusion he was probably right in his assessment.

Fabian got "stuck" with a bachelorette party for two hours on the Marien Platz on Friday night while Papa ran off with a bottle of Triple-Sec he stole from the American bar where Fabian was getting stuck with bachelorettes.

-Triple-sec? I asked. Why did you steal a bottle of triple-sec from the bar?

-I don't know. It was just....sitting there on the bar in front of us, Papa replied also confused.

-It's not like we can just shoot Triple-sec or pass the bottle around the park. Where's the fun?

-In the taking of it I guess.

-Fair. What a thrill. Let's take a tour then, as I reached for the bottle.

After a few drinks it was hard to tell where the distilled sugar began and the orange peel stops, but not quite good enough to schlepp around through Munich. We offloaded the bottle in a public bin.

Fabian, finally concluding his hunt of German bachelorettes, finally found our hotel on Sunday morning at 3 AM. The carpeted corridor in front of room 274 was as far as he got to a bed that night.
